An attack review of GM's EV1 -- with reviews like this, no wonder there weren't many EV1 sales

This so-called review of the GM EV1 published in 1997 was extremely unfriendly to the EV1. It describes the styling weird enough to drive people away, and even starts the review with a stereotype -- that people think electric cars are golf carts. While the review does show the EV1 in performance situations, it is full of faint praise or outright attack. The vehicle shown here was the first of the EV1's, and had lead-acid batteries. Later EV1's had NiMH batteries with a longer vehicle driving range.
